Könst Alstroemeria | Nursery Artflor

All our today's varieties are planted (mostly 7 varieties on a bigger scale), so you can see the total Könst Alstroemeria assortment at Artflor. Another interesting part to see at Artflor, is our approximately 800 m2 alstroemeria breeding area.

The Artflor greenhouse is equipped with the latest technologies such as: Soil cooling, HID lighting (High Intensity Disclosure artificial lighting) and the Denar Aqua Control system (irrigation by tensiometers).

Artflor grows our newest varieties. This nursery is providing us with useful information about our varieties. This way, we learn the best ways to grow our varieties. And if we know this, so will our customers!

Artflor is always open to visitors. It's an interesting experience if you grow our varieties or will be growing them. Of course it's also useful to visit us if you are currently considering an investment in new plant material. If you want to visit Artflor, you can just stop by, but the best thing to do is contact your Area Manager. He would be more than happy to walk you around and give you specific information about our current and upcoming varieties.

Movies
Watch a short movie about alstroemeria crops at Artflor. Each movie will have a different subject and we plan on renewing them on a regular basis. In the first movie you will be able to see the growth of a young shoot coming out of the ground in a timeframe of 4 days.
On the second movie can you see how an Alstroemeria forces it's way through the nets!
On the third movie you can see how Alstroemerias are constantly moving on their way up. This might give you the idea of how they dance.
On the fourth movie you can see how Alstroemerias are opening there flowers.

In France, we have a new breeding station called Könst Alstroemeria Breeding France. We started this breeding area to get an even better assortment for warmer climates. This greenhouse is also open to visitors. But remember to make an appointment!
