At the end of 2006 we decided to stop the large scale production of Alstroemeria cutflowers in Holland for various reasons. We have sold  our cutflower nursery Artflor.  During the past 12 years many growers and other visitors interested in Alstroemeria came to Artflor to see the trials of new and already commercial varieties. In January we planted the new trials at our main location in Nieuwveen. For that reason we restructured one section of our greenhouse to grow Alstroemeria with soilcooling, CO2 and HID-lighting (8000 lux).

On January 17 new varieties were planted, one bed each.

Isola, Armada, Anais, Eternity, Simply Red, Nairobi, Stratus, Rabanne, Aspen, Firenze, Chanel, Prada and several numbered varieties.
